Current Programme

There is always a need for new volunteers at the Family Life Centre. If you are interested in giving some of your time to the Centre please call in to us for a chat and a Volunteer Information Pack. There is a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available, with flexible days & times.


Volunteer Nurturing & Support
The aim of this morning is that it will support and enrich volunteers through a mindful approach using guided meditation, space for questions and social interaction.
All current volunteers of the Centre are invited to come along on the morning. Date: Thursday 22nd September Time:10amó1pm. Booking Essential.

Christmas Thanksgiving & Celebration
An evening for volunteers to becelebrated and thanked for all their work over the current year and previous years.
Date: Tuesday 6th December Time:7.30pm to 10pm Booking Essential

Volunteers are the back bone of the Boyle Family Resource Centre. There are over 100 volunteers working within 14 teams here at the Centre.

Keeping Safe Training
A training in child protection called Keeping Safe will be on-going as this training is essential for staff and volunteers working in the Centre. The Family Resource Centre adhere to all relevant guidelines of our accrediting bodies and
Children First Guidance policies.

Rainbows Training

Training for people who would like to become Rainbows Facilitators, to work with children who have lost a parent or significant other through death, separation or divorce.

Beginning Experience Training Weekend
This is a training weekend for people who have benefitted from the Beginning Experience Programme who wish to become facilitators. This is the essence of the like-to-like caring ministry. Who better to accompany those who grieve than those who have walked the walk of the grief journey.
